Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Total Fertility Rate (TFR), but still regional disparities persist in terms of availability of and accessibility to life care especially in the tribal areas.
The major focus in the proposal approved by OMBADC for the life & Family Welfare department and Women & Child Welfare department is on improving infrastructure and human resources, improving nutrition outcomes, maternal and child life, rlifecing instances of non-communicable diseases through improved access to life care. As a cross cutting measure, increased emphasis will be given on involvement of community for generating awareness on services through improved interdepartmental convergence and enhanced focus on Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) activities.
